Rick Goedert

Serves as the Vice Chairman of the Board of 1st State Bank. Mr. Goedert was the President and Chief Executive Officer of 1st State Bank for 12 years. He has over 35 years of banking experience, with 25 years in the Saginaw, Bay City and Midland market. Mr. Goedert was in a senior management role responsible for lending with National City Bank and First of America Mid-Michigan for 20 years. He served as Senior Vice President and Manager of the Private Client Group for National City. Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President of National City Mortgage. In 2015 Mr. Goedert was appointed to the Community Depository Institutions Advisory Council of the Federal Reserve. Mr. Goedert has been a member of the Board of Directors of Saginaw Valley State University’s Foundation and the Stevens Center for Family Business. Mr. Goedert has also served as a member of the Board of Directors for the Bay Area Chamber of Commerce, and was inducted into the Bay Area Chamber of Commerce Business Hall of Fame in 2019.
